MOSOLINS
Cloths of gold and silver manufactured in the Kingdom of Mosul (Marco Polo). The term muslin which was later on employed to describe these cloths gradually lost its real meaning until in the Middle Ages it denoted a fine open cotton fabric made in Dacca.
